I had the great fortune to stumble across Jan. She has a gift. I had seen other therapists as I had been stuck suffering from post traumatic stress for 2 years after a very unfortunate relationship ending. However none of them directly gave me the possibility of not feeling that way. Jan shines light on possibilities it’s so refreshing. And now I just… feel lighter. That’s all I can say. I began my business coaching sessions with Jan having no idea about how to begin my business venture, or even really what my business would be! I just knew that I had to prepare for the future, when I would no longer be working a regular job. After all, I would still need money! (My other commitments ended in January this year and I) got on with updating my website. Result? I’m now starting to get quite a bit of distant work. This month (March) has been booked solid for both contact and distant client work – I’ve never been on that position before! April’s shaping up pretty well, too. About 3 months ago, I lost a beautiful, dearly loved little dog. The loss was sudden and unexpected and left me reeling and not able to move on with life. I felt teary and distressed a lot of the time. My friend put me in touch with Jan, who does energy work and coaching. This was very helpful, particularly the energy work, as it uncovered a block from my youth that seemed to be holding me back, with my grief. It was strange, because, I had never associated that time, with any emotional block, however, when Jan did the work with me, it all seemed perfectly clear. After the session with Jan, I felt a lot better and although still very sad at losing my little friend, have been coping much better since. Thank you Jan, your help was much appreciated; I can at last smile again!

When I first met Jan I had recently experienced a marriage breakdown that emotionally wrecked me. I was surprised at how I reacted, for I was normally a strong independent woman. I suffered extreme anxiety and panic attacks, attacks that were bad enough to hinder me driving. I didn’t want to face the world, family or friends, let alone start a new job. The anxiety and emotions I had were nearly uncontrollable. I took Xanax to control the anxiety only a small dose so I could sleep, but every day I awoke feeling anxious and scared, and to tell you the truth I didn’t really know what I was anxious or scared off, but I do know I had lost my confidence, self-esteem and as I call them my bubbles for life. Then I met Jan, who specializes in Coaching and Energy Healing, it is the best thing that has happened to me since my marriage breakup. Jan and I had one session and I was a bit dubious, but willing to try anything to feel normal again, we named my Issue ‘Flat Bubbles’. By the end of the session I was feeling much better emotionally but I didn’t know if it was because of the coaching or just that we had talked and confronted some issues. The next day I woke up feeling like me and not scared to go out, this went on for 5 continuous days, I felt normal, I can’t tell you how good that felt to wake up and not feel agitated. This was nearly one month ago, I still need sessions, I am not completely emotionally free of my problem, but my life has improved greatly, and the bubbles are beginning to come back. As Jan informed me, other emotions may surface and they need to be addressed, which makes sense, but to be able have them dealt with so I can feel better and more normal is the path to recovery, plus feeling like I have taken control of myself again. You can’t be cured in one session, but it is the beginning and to be able to feel near normal and look forward to a future is a healthy start to recovery. Even if you have uncertainties about Energy healing, it can’t hurt but try, it’s better than Xanax.

As I went through the coaching sessions I developed a focus on what I wanted to do which made me enthusiastic. I appreciated having a framework to follow to understand myself better and what I like to do. I was able to define the steps I needed to take to reach my goal and realized that I needed to be aware of any negative feelings that would sabotage my plans to achieve my goal. I realized the importance of managing my time so that I can get to do the things that I enjoy the most. I realized that I must be proactive to try and foresee and solve any problems, or resistance, that I will encounter along the way. I realized the importance of creating a timeline so that the goal can be reached in a realistic timeframe. I found the energy clearing exercises, as well as my own strategies to solve problems (often emotional), were very beneficial.
